Happy Father’s Day, Everyone! And happy second week of breakfast inspired cheesecake month! When I was trying to figure out what to make this week, I knew it had to be special. Not just for my own dad but this is my families first Father’s Day without my Grandfather. The first time I can ever remember having monkeybread was at my grandparents house. So I thought let’s incorperate some cheesecake into this and Boom. Cheesecake Monkeybread is just right for Father’s Day breakfast.
My grandparents used to make monkeybread all the time when I was growing up like I said and we all had such a good time centered around it so I thought it would be the perfect recipe to honor my dad and my grandfather.
This recipe is a classic with a twist. It uses just a handful of ingredients and takes just about an hour and a half from start to finish. The monkey bread itself is crunchy on the outside but so soft and fluffy on the inside. The cheesecake filling gives it just a little bit of tang and of course cheesy goodness. Make sure to put not so much filling that you can’t seal the ball but just enough that the filling doesn’t just bake into the ball and you don’t taste it.
I hope you all enjoy this recipe! Make this for your dad this weekend. You won’t regret it! He will go crazy for this! It goes so amazing with a cup of coffee or glass of milk. Happy Fathers Day to you all. I hope you have a fantastic weekend!
