One of my favorite savory recipes to make is homemade pizza. It is just so much fun for me and I love the customizable nature of it. You can put anything you want on a pizza. So I think it is so cool that there are sweet candy dessert pizzas. I have seen them everywhere and they look incredible and so much fun but I have never made one. Crazy, right?! Well, that’s about to change.
I really wanted to make something that could use up what I already had on hand so I did not have to go to the store for any other this. It was just made with dough that I had and had to use up, Nutella that I already had and then a couple different candies and a leftover brownie.
Sweet Candy Dessert Pizza: Process
This process is so simple. It’s just like a regular pizza. Just bake your cookie dough off in a large circle and then put your toppings on. In place of the sauce of a regular pizza I used nutella but you could use whatever you wish. Other things could be cheesecake spread, frosting or fruit compote. Then I topped it with jelly beans, brownie bits, and M&M’s. Other toppings could be Reese’s pieces, crushed up candy bars, or chocolate chips. Just do not bake this one more time like a normal pizza. You’re done here.
