On the day I am writing this it is the day after my dog’s birthdays. But yesterday I put out a video over on my YouTube channel for how to make homemade dog treats in honor of the occasion. I have the most picky dog in the entire world and she absolutely loves them so your dog is sure to be obsessed.
Homemade Dog Biscuits: Customize the Treats to Your Dogs Taste
The only ingredients in this recipe that is constant are the flour and the egg. The rest can be customized to your dog’s likes. My dogs LOVE peanut butter so I went with that and I also had no ripe bananas so I used applesauce instead. Other ingredients you could use are pumpkin puree, yogurt and safe veggies for like carrots. Have fun with it and find what your dog will like.
Homemade Dog Treats/Biscuits Trouble Shooting: Forming a Dough
Forming the dough is typically pretty easy but if you get stuck here are some things you can try.
Too Dry? Won’t some together? Breaking apart? – Add a teaspoon of water and knead until it comes together.
Too wet? Slimy? Sticking to the board? – Add a TBSP of Flour and knead until it comes together the way you would like.
Keep repeating those two steps until you have a dough that you can roll out.
I hope you try this super easy recipe. No matter how finicky your dog is, they will love it. Follow my blog for all the best recipes every week. Have an amazing week and I will see you next time. Bye guys.
